Interior Design Intern
Sarah Jacquelyn Interiors is seeking a part-time interior design intern to assist the design team. We are a full-service residential-focused interior design firm that believes that design can impact lives and promote well-being within the home. This immersive internship experience provides not just a detailed look into the interior design world, but also mentorship as you pursue your journey of becoming a Registered Interior Designer.

Ability to work in a collaborative small team environment

Strong attention to detail
Self motivated and desire to learn
Proficient in PowerPoint, Google Drive, and Gmail
Enrolled in an interior design or interior architecture degree program preferred
Program knowledge is a plus, but not required: AutoCAD, Studio Designer, SketchUP, and Photoshop
Responsibilities
Assist the design team with multiple residential design projects
Manage sample library and office organization
Attend site visits with the design team
Measure residential homes with the design team
Collaborate with the design team on installations and photoshoots
Vendor communications - phone, email, and in person
Participate in client and office design meetings
Return and retrieve samples from the Merchandise Mart and other showrooms
Source products from websites and in-person showrooms
Create mood boards for design presentations
Style and create images for social media
2-3 Days per week in the office
